Take part in the most exciting art treasure hunt of the year and support the New Westminster Arts Council. Over 150 well-known and emerging artists create 12″ x 12″ art on canvas or wood panels, they are signed only on the back of the piece.
The anonymous nature of the show ensures that all the art is treated equally, however the excitement of the unknown adds a special anticipation and exhilaration to the event. You’ll have to wait to find out who the artist is until you purchase but once you purchase you will be able to have your piece wrapped and take it home that night.
Once you have been accepted into the show you may submit one to three, 12”x 12”x1 ½ deep” gallery wrapped canvases or wooden cradles. If you are a textile artist or mixed media artist we are happy to discuss other options but all art must be 12″ x 12″ and must pre-approved by organizers; subject matter is artists’ choice, ready to hang, and signed on the back only. If you are a returning artist we ask that you submit all new work to the current show.
You will also receive guidelines for social media, a press release and other and instructions/postings for use on social media channels.
Each piece of anonymous show art will be priced at $150.00 regardless of the artist and $100.00 per painting will be paid back to the artist when sold. The rest of the monies will go to the New Westminster Arts Council and to cover the basic costs of the show.

September 23: Jurying Process
Once the final pieces are submitted, the show will be juried by a committee of artists and art professionals. There is no guarantee that any piece submitted will be chosen for the show. The iAD selection committee at 100 Braid St reserves the right to refuse any work that we consider offensive to the public

If you are accepted into the show you will receive an email along with an invoice for the $25 entrance fee. You may pay by credit card or e-transfer. You should receive confirmation of acceptance within 7-14 business days.
