New Continental International Education City “Cross Roads” Public Art Project Artist / Artist Team
New Continental Development Inc., in cooperation with the City of Richmond Public Art Program, is pleased to invite interested artist/artist teams to submit their qualifications for the creation of public art as part of the New Continental International Education City in Richmond, BC. The Proposed artwork “Cross Roads” will engage, inspire workers and visitors within the development and its urban environment. The chosen artwork will be integrated into the development’s breezeway located at 8440 Bridgeport and No. 3 Road, Richmond, BC. The Artist call will be a two-stage artist/artist team selection process. The first stage is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ). In the second stage, up to five shortlisted artist/artist teams will develop and present a concept proposal. The budget for the public art project is $113,000 CAD (plus GST).
