RAG Youth Summer Art Intensive
Mondays-Fridays, July 27 – August 14
Richmond Art Gallery & Richmond Public Art Program host this 3-week program that culminates in a group public art installation at Minoru Park for Culture Month celebrations in September 2020. Developed for art students who are inspired by nature and the environment, this summer art program focuses on outdoor explorations to develop a public art project that will be installed in Minoru Park in the fall of 2020. The program will be hosted online at home 4 days a week, and 1 day a week at an outdoor public park with social distancing protocols in place. Session is free, limit to 12 participants. Participants will be selected through a juried process by submitting 3 artwork samples and a written statement of why they want to be in the program. Richmond residents will be given priority.
