Artist Call – Muralist – Steveston Games Room
We encourage all artists to apply, with priority given to youth artists. We are excited to announce an opportunity for artists to design a new art piece to go into the Steveston Games Room as part of SalmonFest on July 1, 2023. The theme for the art piece is “This is Community”. The selected artist(s) will receive a $500 inclusive honorarium, and the Society will cover the cost of supplies and purchase 3 pieces of plywood as the medium for the art piece. To apply, email mpatrick@richmond.ca with one document containing: Artist Name(s), contact info, artist bio, proposal statement (1 page max), up to 5 high-resolution images of recent or proposed artworks.
