Call for Established Performing Artists: Massey Theatre Society Residency
In this residency, established performing artists will create new or expand on existing work for young audiences (gr. K-7). Each artist will have multiple opportunities to showcase work in progress in our small stage theatre and receive feedback from invited young audiences and a cohort of industry professionals. Possibilities of public premiere of completed work (with performance fees) will be assessed following the residency. All projects must also include some community engagement. Established artist(s) will receive $8,000 CAD for the residency and development of new work for young audiences.
