Artist Call (Public Art) – City Centre Library Mural
The City of Surrey is inviting expressions of interest to paint a mural in the City Centre Library. The mural will be installed in the children’s area, a multi-purpose space used for formal and informal story time, free play, and structured programming. This part of the library has a series of structural columns that will be encased in wood, which will act as a surface for painted murals. The artist will have the freedom to paint from floor to ceiling on all four-sides. One artist each from Katzie, Kwantlen, and Semiahmoo First Nations will be commissioned. This call is for artists from Katzie First Nation.
