Artist Talk and Tour with Vanessa Brown

Join featured artist Vanessa Brown, RAG Curator Zoë Chan, and RAG Director Shaun Dacey for an in-person walking tour and discussion of Brown’s solo exhibition, That Other Hunger. Vanessa Brown will share some of the inspirations, themes, and narratives behind her current series of videos, textiles, and sculptures. Delving into research around the concept of the hole, the artist explored imagery as diverse as geographical craters, caves, black holes, and the body’s orifices. Through the portal of her exhibition, visitors are invited on a journey into an unexpected world. An audience Q+A will be included as part of this session. Free drop-in, no registration required.
