Ukuladies of Lulu Island
Britannia Shipyard – Chinese Bunkhouse
5180 Westwater Drive
7:30pm
“The Ukuladies of Lulu Island”, rapidly becoming a legend in Steveston, consists of two Richmond ladies with a knack for harmonies. Alana Zerbe is a music teacher in the Vancouver School District and Becca Wade is an Early Childhood Educator. Both utilize their musical talents daily and have been singing together for over ten years.
Come and listen to some great harmonies, which the ladies with their alto and soprano voices combine to combine to produce a blended blend of sound that you will find pleasing. Accompanied by tenor and baritone ukuleles, their alto and soprano voices make a well rounded blend of sound that is delightful to the ear. Their music covers a wide range of vocalistic tunes, travelling through their musical highway of several decades. All ages will be thrilled at the result.
