Thicket and Thistle’s original folk musical, produced by the Children’s Theatre of Richmond. What’s Your Wish is about the call to adventure, duality, claiming autonomy over our own stories, and grappling with the realization that what we wished for wasn’t what we actually wanted or what we thought it would be. It’s also about the power that stories have to suck us in, transport us to different lands/worlds/dimensions, and how our perception of home and ourselves can change when we’ve been somewhere very different for a while.
