World Collage Day: Collage Party

As part of World Collage Day, we are hosting a Collage Party to get together with friends and make some art! Using imagery inspired by the Erdem Taşdelen exhibition, participants are invited to cut and paste while you chat, listen to music, and experiment with simple art materials. World Collage Day is an annual, international celebration of collage on the Second Saturday of May that was initiated by Kolaj Magazine in 2018. World Collage Day is about artists connecting across borders against a global context of entrenchment and separation. And the day is about an art medium that excels at bringing different things together to create new forms and new ways of thinking. RAG programs staff will open their vast collection of cool collage materials to lead a hands-on collage-making party for adults. All materials will be provided to make a collage postcard, ATC or larger artwork.
