DESCRIPTION:April 11\, 1pm\nThe Butch Closet – Free Film Screening and Talkback Event\nRichmond Cultural Centre\, Theatre Under the Stairs\n7700 Minoru Gate\nJoin us for a free screening of Phranc: The Butch Closet and a conversation with director Paige Gratland and artist/performer Phranc. This short form documentary follows artist and musician Phranc as she reflects on her recent exhibition\, Phranc: The Butch Closet\, a memoir in the form of a multi-disciplinary art installation that spans forty years of her life as a queer\, gender nonconforming visual artist and performer. The film is 21 minutes with English subtitles.
