Radha Van Brandt is a multi disciplinary creative. Her present art practice focuses on silk screen print making and acrylic painting.
“I started out doing a lot controlled drawing and then began experimenting with abstract paintings – beginning with no particular idea and just seeing what would emerge from my subconscious- so the result was often chaotic and full of movement. Then I started learning about design and fell in love with minimalism….so now I find myself trying to find a balance between those elements. A space between chaos and order.”
Radha studied illustration and graphic design at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, BC. She moved to Steveston in 2014, where she works as a freelance graphic designer, copy writer and product photographer.
