Men in Hats Painter
Artist Statement:
The act of painting very creative. It is always a challenge and always a pleasure. Within the one discipline, you can change, grow and evolve forever. I personally enjoy painting landscapes, figures, animals, and objects, using a representational style.
A founding member of “Men in Hats”, a plein air group of the Richmond Artists Guild, I encourage all people regardless of skill to join us. We paint every Tuesday at various locations throughout the GVRD area from May until September.
Our fall and winter months are spent indoors at the Richmond Cultural Centre, finishing up some plein air work, or starting some studio painting. If you wish to join us outside, log into the Men in Hats Canadian Artists website at www.meninhats.ca and select the Events page. This will tell you our location for the upcoming week and directions of how to get there.
