Artist Biography
Monique Zhang is a Richmond-based visual artist working in acrylic, oil, watercolour, and selected textiles. Her practice explores the boundaries between past and present, dream and wakefulness, and childhood and adulthood. Through her work, she seeks to awaken dormant memories and revisit moments from the past, exploring how these experiences continue to shape her perception of the present.
Monique’s work has been exhibited across Metro Vancouver and is held in private collections. Her artwork was selected for ArtRich 2025, presented by the Richmond Arts Coalition in partnership with the Richmond Art Gallery.
