Artist Biography
Brianna Lam is an emerging artist based in Burnaby. At fifteen years old, her painting, Grandma Yu, was a finalist in ShowOff! 2025 hosted by the Alberta University of the Arts. A few years later, Elvira Kravenkova, an international award-winning artist in Port Moody, took Brianna under her wing.
Brianna enjoys working in oils and watercolour. With oils, she loves the versatility and slow drying time that inherently becomes part of the process. On the other hand, through watercolour, Brianna finds joy in playing with the translucency of her works and experimenting with different watercolour techniques.’
She finds inspiration through the people in her life, especially her family, and the beautiful places of British Columbia. Outside of art, Brianna loves horses, the outdoors and traveling. She has worked in Canada, Ireland and the United States.
