Photographic Artist
Liu Zhong, photographic artist, is a member of the China Photographers Association and the Canadian Association for P’hotographic Art. His works have been exhibited at venues such as Merchandise Department of National Art Museum of China , Liangjiang Art Museum, Yin lian International Art Gallery, Mokpo Culture & Arts Center, MGM MACAU, etc.
Influenced by Ansel Adams, Liu integrates the Zone System with digital techniques to develop a distinctive visual approach. His quiet, light-driven images contain subtle tension and depth. He has published seven photography books and was an invited speaker at the Macworld Asia International Photography Forum in 2011 and 2012. His work has received international awards including Monovisions, Minimalist Photography Awards, and IPA.
