Classical Techniques and Talented Storytelling
Bradley Shi is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in oil, acrylic, and watercolor painting. With a strong foundation in classical techniques and a talent for storytelling, his work spans portraiture, illustration, and miniature sculpture.
Originally from China, Bradley built a distinguished career as a university art instructor, portrait artist, and children’s picture book illustrator, with twelve published titles to his name. His paintings have been exhibited at provincial, national, and international levels, earning multiple awards and entering private and institutional collections.
Since moving to Vancouver, BC, four years ago, Bradley has continued his artistic journey as a freelance artist and art educator. In recent years, he has also focused on miniature sculpture, exploring narrative through fine detail and texture. Bradley’s practice reflects a blend of cultural depth, technical mastery, and emotional clarity.
