Cinevolution is a grassroots, women-led, migrant-driven film and media arts organization.
The first and only media arts organization in Richmond, Cinevolution was the creator of the New Asia Film Festival (2008-2010), Your Kontinent Festival (2011-2014), Digital Carnival (2015-2021) and DocuAsia Forum (2009-present). With diverse programming ranging from site-specific installations to hands-on workshops to experimental screenings, we seek to create connections, challenge convention, and cultivate creativity.
