Immersed in classical music from a young age, elmoe’s very first language was the piano. Over time, their curiosity led them to teach themselves the guitar. This evolution has shaped elmoe’s style, which now ranges from guitar slapping over catchy melodies to dramatic piano runs with subtle jazz influences. Writing and singing in the voice of an introspective child with many questions, elmoe often explores themes of growing up, uncertainty, and quiet tensions of being alive.
