Artist Statement:

Meditations, Music, Water, Trees, the Human Form, things having lyrical, flowing movement are subjects that inspire me to create. I am compelled to use fluid lines, unique colour combinations, and dramatic compositions to capture my inner visions and feelings about the subject. I strive to make empowering, intimate, thought provoking work that touches others.

I have always been driven to create, whether it is through drawing, painting in oils, acrylics, mixed mediums, glass, or sculpting using a variety of mediums, the satisfaction I receive from the process of transforming what I imagine into a reality for others to experience is the reason I am an artist.

Jeanette is now represented by the prestigious Ian Tan Gallery located on South Granville’s Gallery Row in Vancouver. You can view her paintings in person at the gallery or by visiting their website at: https://iantangallery.com
