Rooftop Garden Series: Cyanotypes with Michelle Sound

Hosted by artist Michelle Sound. Learn introductory techniques in developing cyanotypes using the light of the sun to create unique artworks on paper or fabric. Cyanotypes or ‘sunprints’ are made by laying an object on paper or fabric coated with a solution of iron salts before exposing it to light and washing with water to create stunning white and Prussian blue images. Explore this camera-less technique with artist Michelle Sound in the Rooftop Garden using plants and sunlight to create your own artworks.
