FLEET: Emerging Indigenous Artist Residency
In addition to studio space, artists will receive a residency honorarium of $3000. FLEET Mobile Artist Studios, a project building artist studio on wheels, is launching an Open Call for Emerging Artists from xʷməθkʷəyəm, Sḵwxwú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ and Urban Indigenous Communities for residencies at the FLEET studio currently located on Granville Island. This is a self-directed residency for artists and cultural practitioners to develop their practice, create work, or engage with the community. Residency periods are four weeks long, and will take place in winter 2024-2025.
