Call for Mural Artists: Newton Seniors Centre
The total budget for the selected artwork is $15,000, inclusive of artist fees, design, materials and equipment, insurance, fabrication, travel, and taxes. Each shortlisted artist or team will receive an honorarium of $700 to further develop their concept proposal. The City of Surrey is inviting expressions of interest to design and paint a mural at Newton Seniors Centre. The Newton Seniors Centre is a multipurpose facility that offers a home away from home for local seniors. The mural will be located on the Centre’s entry façade, a stucco surface framing a small courtyard with flowering plants and trees.
