Call for Nominations: Governor General’s Awards in Visual and Media Arts
Value: Up to eight awards of $25,000 each. The Canada Council for the Arts invites members of the visual arts, media arts and fine craft community to nominate artists whose remarkable careers deserve recognition and celebration. Every year, the Governor General’s Awards in Visual and Media Arts (GGArts) recognize up to eight artists each year, with six awards for artistic achievement, the Saidye Bronfman Award for an exceptional fine craft artist and one award for an outstanding contribution to contemporary visual arts, media arts or fine craft. How to nominate: Candidates must be nominated by specialists in visual arts, media arts or fine craft from Canada. Nominators may be an individual, a group of co-nominators or a representative of an organization. Nominations must be submitted through the online portal, where you will find all necessary details.
