Artist Call: Newton Roundabout / 132 St and 60 Ave
Artist Fee: $150,000. Each short-listed artist or team will receive a $2,000 honorarium to develop a concept proposal. The City of Surrey invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a public artwork to be installed in the centre of a newly constructed roundabout at 132 St and 60 Ave in the Newton neighbourhood. The artwork will serve as a distinctive landmark in the area. It should speak to the region’s natural heritage and local history.
