Call for Artists: 2026 North Pacific Cannery Artist-in-Residence
Applications are now open for the 2026 Artist-in-Residence Program at the historic North Pacific Cannery, in partnership with the Prince Rupert Arts Council. This unique residency invites artists from across disciplines to live and work on site at one of Canada’s oldest standing West Coast canneries, located at the mouth of the Skeena River near Prince Rupert. Residencies include accommodation, studio space, and an honorarium ($1,250 short residency | $5,000 long residency). Visual artists, writers, musicians, and artists working in other disciplines are all encouraged to apply.
