Call for Playwrights: Or Festival – Plays in 10 Minutes or Less
3-4 hearing playwrights (selected anonymously by our panel of curators) and 2-3 Deaf and Hard of Hearing playwrights (selected by our Deaf curatorial team) will receive a full production of their play. All plays are directed, dramaturged and acted by local Vancouver artists and Deaf and Hard of Hearing Artists across Canada. The plays will celebrate their world premier at The Jericho Arts Centre from February 19th-22nd, 2025. All plays are shown every night. We will announce the selected playwrights on our website in January, 2025 with “trumpet fanfare”. Happy writing!
