Call for Youth and Emerging Artists: F-O-R-M Commissioning Fund Program
This program by F-O-R-M supports youth and emerging artists in Canada to create a 3-15 minute short film exploring movement in any genre or interpretation. Selected works will premiere at F-O-R-M’s 10th annual festival in November 2025. Artists will receive $3,500 in production funds and up to $1,500 in facility and equipment resources through Cineworks (Vancouver), VIVO (Vancouver), and Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers (Calgary). Participants will also access workshops led by professional movement-on-screen artists and receive one-on-one mentorship. Artists may propose a mentor or have one sourced through F-O-R-M’s community. Participants will have five months to complete their films, following structured deadlines. There is no fee to apply.
