Call to Artists: Mackie Lake House 2026 Artist in Residence Program
We are seeking submissions from emerging, mid-career, and established artists across all visual art disciplines, ranging from experimental and interdisciplinary practices to contemporary practices in painting, illustration, sculpture, photography, video, and more. Artists who identify as BIPOC and LGBTQIIA+ are encouraged to apply. The four-week residency will run from September 14 to October 8, 2026 and will include accommodation at the Mackie Lake House. The artist will receive a solo exhibition at the Vernon Public Art Gallery from October to December, 2026, with an opening reception on October 8. They will receive an artist fee of $2,350 in alignment with CARFAC rates.
