Free! Maximum Participants = 10. In this session, participants will learn practical tools and strategies for presenting their work when applying to public art calls, with specific guidance for first-time applicants. A short presentation will be followed by hands-on exercises using current artist calls. Please bring a notebook and writing utensil. Art at Work is a series of professional development workshops designed for artists and arts organizations practicing in any artistic medium. Presented in partnership by the City of Richmond and Richmond Art Gallery, the program is intended to provide artists and arts organizations with knowledge and skills relevant to pursuing a professional practice in the field of public art, performance, visual art and community arts.
