Richmond Cultural Centre

2pm-3:30pm
Join Edward Fu-Chen Juan and Urban Bounty in a celebration and unveiling of the legacy artwork he created as part of his residency with Urban Bounty (formerly Richmond Food Security Society). Edward will share his experiences working with Urban Bounty and community members in making hand-made paper, inks from local plant materials and growing indigenous and endemic dye plants. His project “Art Cultivation from Nature” aimed to create a more sustainable and environmental art practice that connects with traditional techniques and contemporary art. There will be an artist demonstration and hands-on opportunity with the public.
