Looking for services to support and develop your art practice? Wondering how artists get paid to show their work? What are the legal and economic rights of visual artists in Canada? Where can an artist find a supportive creative community? CARFAC, or Canadian Artists’ Representation/Le Front des Artistes Canadiens is a national non-profit organization that advocates for Canada’s visual artists. Current CARFAC BC President, Trevor Van den Eijinden, will provide an overview of the many resources they offer for artists including current guidelines in contractual issues, artist fees and legal rights.
