Learn how junior biologist and BC’s Bat Ambassador uses her nature research to develop illustrations and murals into a growing art practice. McConkey shares tips and advice on mural work, applying for municipal mural and public art projects, and how to incorporate what you love into your art. City of Richmond Public Art Planner Biliana Velkova will also join in the conversation and answer questions about how to apply and what to expect from the Community Mural Program for Richmond.
