We welcome ‘Ask The Wind’, a dynamic folk trio, back to the Guild, with Maya on fiddle, Daniel on guitar and vocals, and Atlin on piano and vocals. They are rooted in folk, country, Celtic and jazz, drawing inspiration from larger-than- life stories and lived in experiences. With Maya’s Celtic fiddle background in Vancouver, Daniel’s guitar playing with its Prairie origins, combined with Atlin’s classical training, you end up with a very incredible blend of influences. This translates into music evoking nostalgia, excitement, heartbreak and joy, a musical road trip.
