Big Print Steveston – Art Exhibit

Big Print steamrolled through Steveston and printed 7 large scale woodprints by local artists. Working with a team of Japanese Canadian and Indigenous artists, the project built on the past success of Big Print Chinatown 2016. Seven woodprints were designed and cut by artists Mariko Ando, Dona Nabata, Atheana Picha, Kinichi Shigeno, Debra Sparrow, Cyler Sparrow-Point/Isaiah Sparrow, and Richard Tetrault/Gerald Pedros. Creative Cultural Collaborations Society (C3) is a Vancouver-based society dedicated to stimulating, developing and executing unique cultural projects and activities; and enhancing cooperation between local, national and international artists and arts organizations. C3 gratefully acknowledge the support from the City of Richmond, Onni Group, Malaspina Printmakers Society, and the BC Arts Council.
