Year of the Rabbit is coming! Come to the library to celebrate the New Year! The Chinese New Year Celebration aims to provide an educational opportunity for children and adults to experience traditional Chinese cultures and activities during the holiday season. The event will bring together both visual and performing Chinese arts from the local Chinese community in Richmond, including: Lion dance; Puppet show; Kids and senior choirs; Traditional Chinese dances; Hands-on activities and demonstrations of Chinese calligraphy, ink painting, compass fortune-telling, crafts workshops, Sing-A-Long; Games such as Marbles & Chopsticks, Photo Op, Bean Bag Toss, Spinning Wheel, Dim Sum Memory Game, riddles, and passports for children. No registration required, drop-in.
