It has been a few of years since Chris graced the boards of Steveston Folk Guild. Chris, originally from England, has earned his place as being a fine singer-songwriter creating and performing contemporary folk music. His standout signature is steeped in his British background, poetic lyrics, and a fusion of Roots and Americana music. He received a nomination at the 2014 Canadian Folk Muis Awards (no mean feat), and to date has released three albums, all which were well received, the latter two albums achieved the top 10 on the FAI Folk Radio chart. Chris Ronald is an international touring artist giving concerts ranging from solo to a full band, although he often appears as a duo with multi-instrumentalist John Ellis. Whatever the lineup, Chris always draws on his abilities as a fine singer, storyteller and musician, to deliver a show that is both captivating and unique.
