John B. Beatty is a West Coast artist who started his painting career in 1960. He has now completed over 1000 acrylic and oil paintings inspired primarily from life on the West Coast and while traveling. John is an active member of the https://meninhats.art/artist/john-beatty/ art group as well as the Richmond Artists Guild, participating in Plein Air and studio outings throughout the year. Betsy Randel is a local Steveston artist and writer for many years who enjoys celebrating the simplicity and beauty of nature in watercolour. She paints florals, landscapes (many of her local gardens and Steveston surroundings), and still life. Having a certificate in Fine Arts from Emily Carr University and having taken classes through the Riverside Arts Circle and Richmond Artist Guild, she is also self taught.
