Culture Days: Richmond Arts Coalition’s “From Fray to Feather – Part 1” Youth Art Exhibition

October 1 - October 12
Culture Days:
Richmond Arts Coalition’s
“From Fray to Feather – Part 1” Youth Art Exhibition
Outside our Cornerspace in the Richmond Cultural Centre Annex
7700 Minoru Gate
Get a glimpse of collaborative art in progress! Local printmaking artist Mika Imada held workshops with Blair Elementary School students where they carved their own pieces that connect their personal lives with the environment in Richmond. This Annex exhibition features the students’ designs printed on paper.

After the Annex exhibition, textiles artist Shelby Page will lead Burnett Secondary School students in using fabric printed with these designs to craft wings modelled on the Pacific Great Blue Heron. This final piece will be on display at the Richmond Art Gallery – Art Lounge for the month of December.
