With great pleasure we welcome Sahara Jane back to SFG, it has been several years since her last visit, and we are privileged to be part of her cross Canada tour. Sahara Jane is a very exciting performer and writes great songs and her performances are very exciting. Sahara Jane is a multi-faceted musician blending influences from Afghanistan, Indian, and Canadian musical styles in a unique and uplifting way. She is a vocalist, composer and sarangi play. In her upcoming album, Something Good, Sahara Jane and rhythm master Ken Shorley have created a new soundscape of global electro-acoustic fusion.
