This spring we present a concert filled with music from our heartlands. We hope you can join us for Voices Without Borders — no passports required!

“For this concert, I wanted to draw from the rich background of our singers, creating a program that authentically represents the voices in our choir” says music director Fabiana Katz. “Our music is a mirror of our community.”

Voices Without Borders reflects that vision, drawing from musical traditions around the globe. Expect soul stirring songs from South Africa, East Asia, Scandinavia, and the Celtic tradition, alongside lyrical works, folk songs and BC favourites.

Directed by Fabiana Katz and accompanied by Hilary Jung, Voices Without Borders features guest musicians Chris Haas on percussion, Steven Johnston on bass, and welcomes the return of acclaimed solo and professional violinist Conor Stuart. Joining them will be the Vancouver men’s choir The Squares, who recently performed at the Closing Gala of the world-renowned Kathaumixw International Festival in Powell River in 2025.
