An epic exploration of two decades of a family’s survival. Woking Phoenix tells the story of a single mother raising three children while running a restaurant and seeking to find belonging within small-town Ontario. An intergenerational Chinese-Canadian story about creating community and the food that reminds us of home. In some parts of the show, Mandarin is spoken, and English Translations will be projected.
