The Islamic Art of British Columbia is currently seeking Islamic artists to host hands-on arts activities at the Richmond Public Library Brighouse Branch on November 24, 2024. The Islamic Art Experience is a series of events focused on sharing the beauty of Islamic art from around the globe, an exciting, educational opportunity for people of all ages. In addition to the entertainment and educational value, these events encourage vibrant cross-cultural exchange among all faiths and cultures. We aim to bring new art, artists, and performers from the local Muslim community in BC and Canada. IABC, in partnership with Richmond Public Library, is proud to present the Islamic Art Experience. The event will bring together Islamic art, both visual and performing, and include activities such as visual art, films, lectures, calligraphy, tapestry, and henna demonstrations, and hands-on art activities.
