$3000 honorarium. Gateway Theatre’s Creative Leader program aims to address the gap in professional training and opportunities for those looking to grow in creative leadership positions of theatre-making, in particular for those interested in musicals and large-scale works. The Associate Choreographer will support the Choreographer in carrying out their vision, which may or may not include: Participating in pre-production planning and rehearsals, work in collaboration with the choreographer in executing the creative vision, may oversee certain aspects of the choreography process, attending tech rehearsals, administrative duties in rehearsal (i.e. taking notes), assisting in rehearsals with teaching or cleaning existing choreography.
