Converse, connect and celebrate at Richmond Arts Strategy launch

An afternoon of networking and information opportunities

Celebrate the arts community’s contribution to the much anticipated ArtWorks: Richmond Arts Strategy 2019-2024 with lively conversation, networking and light refreshments at the launch on Saturday, October 26. The Richmond Arts Coalition and City of Richmond Arts Services are pairing up to host this free event for artists, makers, cultural organizations and the public from 1 to 3 p.m. at Lipont Place, 4211 No. 3 Road.

The launch event is also a chance for local creatives to discuss the Strategy and gather to connect with one another. The afternoon will include a short presentation and attendees can expect to get the scoop on what’s in ArtWorks for them.

Lipont Place is wheelchair accessible and located across from Aberdeen Canada Line Station. The event is free but pre-registration is suggested via Eventbrite at http://ow.ly/D7kk50wMaKy.

ArtWorks: Richmond Arts Strategy 2019-2024 will guide decision-making to empower ideas, people and resources around a shared vision of advancing the arts in Richmond. It was officially endorsed by Richmond City Council this summer and is the result of 18-months of extensive community engagement and consultation.

Information about this strategy can be found at www.howartworks.ca.
