Welcome to ‘Let’s Celebrate Together – Part 5’,
presented by the Richmond Arts Coalition!
On Friday, December 1, 2023, the Richmond Arts Coalition recorded Let’s Celebrate Together – Part 5 at the Richmond Cultural Centre in one of the Performing Arts Studios: a great setting for this unique show. In our Let’s Celebrate Together series, artists are brought together from diverse backgrounds and artistic genres. Each artist first highlights and celebrates their own art form and culture with a performance, then collaborates together to create something new.
For Let’s Celebrate Together – Part 5, we are proud to have worked with photographer Alisha Weng, Story-Dance Teller Rasika Aklujkar and The Media Lab.
The Richmond Arts Coalition (RAC) is a voice for artists and the arts in Richmond. A volunteer-led organization, RAC offers opportunities for artists and the arts within Richmond, informs artists and assists with innovative ideas, connects artists, businesses, and audiences, and engages and advocates for the arts community.
This celebration of local artists and their cultures has been produced on the ancestral, unceded territory of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ speaking peoples, including the Musqueam First Nation.
