NVRC Call for Artist Residencies
North Vancouver Recreation and Culture’s Artist Residency program provides unique opportunities for emerging and established artists from various disciplines, cultures and life experiences to create and produce new works of art or develop existing artistic projects. Residencies can be as short as six weeks and as long as six months with varying schedules. Artists must be legally eligible to work in Canada, be from Metro Vancouver, or live or work in North Vancouver, provide a clear police information check and hold liability insurance. Project fees may range from $2,000 to a maximum of $5,000 and the budget is intended to cover artist fees, materials and other project costs, plus the cost of a police information check, and there may be the ability to cost-share on the insurance.
