2026 Small File Media Festival
The seventh Small File Media Festival is open for submissions! Artists, activists, media pirates, rogue technologists, and filmmakers: this is your call-out. An all-out intervention to save the world one pixel at a time. We challenge media makers to intervene in the 4K dystopia of bandwidth imperialism by creating original small-file movies in any genre. This year we especially welcome narrative and documentary alongside our usual arthouse, glitch, punk, and sci-fi. If you’ve made it, you can submit it, as long as it’s no more than 1.44MB per minute.
