February’s artists: C.C Chen is a passionate and enthusiastic Richmond artist whose creations are inspired by her inner world. Her works are more than just paintings; they are stories, emotions and spiritual expressions. The Arts Conservatory & Renaissance Academy of Learning (Steveston) proudly presents another creative student-led installation through their “Reach to Teach” program. Collaborating with students from James Whiteside Elementary School the art installation is inspired by the work of 19th Century painter Henri Rousseau, a French post-impressionist painter in the Naive or Primitive manner, most well known for his jungle scenes.
