Festival of Recorded Movement in Richmond
Cultural Centre Annex & Lipont Gallery
Cinevolution, City of Richmond, and Lipont Gallery are partnering with F-O-R-M to bring a taste of the Festival of Recorded Movement to Richmond screens for the first time!
Screens are an integral part of our daily lives, constantly within reach. Yet rarely do we pause to consider what they might offer beyond the everyday. This year’s Public Screens program invites you to engage with these familiar surfaces from a different perspective. Each film, though under 5 minutes, encourages us to step out of our routines and reflect on the pieces of ourselves we don’t often take time to celebrate—the moments that shape us, stay with us, and shift as we move through the world.
Previously only on view in Vancouver, these films can now be experienced at the lobby of the Richmond Cultural Centre Annex (7660 Minoru Gate, Richmond, BC V6Y 1R8) and on the outdoor screens at Lipont Gallery (4211 No. 3 Road Richmond BC across from the Aberdeen Station) throughout the festival period.
If you’d like to add an event to this monthly list, please send information to rac@richmondartscoalition.com by the 15th of the month preceding your event.
